Fear & Confidence Hypnotherapy in Moncton
A fear response can become limiting when it starts shaping where you go, what you avoid, or how much confidence you feel in everyday situations. You can understand that the danger is small and still notice an immediate body reaction: tension, nausea, racing thoughts, a strong urge to leave, or hours of anticipation.
Andrew Maillet offers collaborative hypnotherapy support for adults who want to respond more calmly to a specific fear, reduce avoidance, and build confidence through gradual, practical change. Appointments are available at Naturology Centre in Moncton and by secure video across New Brunswick when virtual care fits the care plan.

The Fear & Confidence Hypnotherapy Program
Initial consultation + 4 hypnotherapy follow-ups · Program fee: $689
The initial consultation clarifies the fear, triggers, avoidance pattern, health context, previous care, and the change that would matter most. Four follow-ups then build a steadier response through focused attention, therapeutic imagery, confidence rehearsal, calming skills, and gradual real-world practice chosen collaboratively.
The program gives you a structured path while keeping care responsive. Some people need fewer or additional visits, and Andrew will discuss referral or coordinated care when that is the stronger fit.
A collaborative, exposure-informed approach
Hypnotherapy is used to help you rehearse a different response to feared situations while remaining aware and in control. Sessions work with anticipatory thoughts, body sensations, imagery, calming anchors, confidence cues, and the language your mind uses around the fear.
Care is individualized to the specific fear, avoidance pattern, health context, and the client’s goals. Drawing on more than 20 years of hypnotherapy experience, informed by his broader work in naturopathy and osteopathy, Andrew works collaboratively with each client to determine the most appropriate therapeutic approach, pace, and next steps, including when broader assessment or coordinated care would be useful.
What the five visits cover
- Initial consultation: map the fear response, avoidance, goals, health history, and safest next steps.
- Regulation and preparation: practise calming and confidence skills that can be used before and during a trigger.
- Changing the automatic pattern: use hypnosis and imagery to rehearse a more flexible response.
- Real-world confidence: support gradual, manageable practice without forcing or flooding.
- Consolidation: review progress, strengthen useful cues, and plan for future situations.
What this program supports
The goal is less avoidance, a calmer response, and greater confidence in situations that matter to you. Progress is tracked by changes in avoidance, body response, confidence, and follow-through in real situations.
Severe panic, trauma-related symptoms, self-harm risk, urgent mental-health concerns, or fears linked to a new medical symptom require appropriate medical or mental-health assessment.

No. Sessions are collaborative. Any real-world practice is discussed in advance and approached gradually, with your consent and within your comfort and safety needs.
Will I be aware during hypnosis?

Yes. Sessions can focus on coping, preparation, confidence, and a calmer response around medical, dental, or travel situations. The approach and any coordination with another provider are determined individually.
Can appointments be virtual?
