Hands-on therapy in Moncton

Different kinds of care can support the same person in different ways.

Naturology Centre offers several hands-on and in-room therapies under one roof. Each service has a different role, but many clients come to us with goals that overlap: less tension, better mobility, calmer stress, improved recovery, and more confidence in daily movement.

This page explains how our manual and supportive therapies may fit together, without turning care into a one-size-fits-all plan.

Care options

How each therapy may help.

The right starting point depends on your goals, health history, comfort level, and how your body responds to care.

Massage therapy

Registered massage therapy may help ease muscular tension, support relaxation, improve everyday comfort, and maintain mobility. It can be a useful choice when stress, posture, work demands, or activity have left the body feeling tight or overworked.

Osteopathy

Osteopathic care looks at how joints, soft tissue, posture, and movement patterns work together. Gentle manual techniques may support mobility, alignment, and whole-body function when discomfort or restriction feels connected across more than one area.

Acupuncture / TCM

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine take a whole-person view of wellness. Care may be considered for stress, sleep, tension, pain support, digestive concerns, cycle-related wellness goals, or general health maintenance.

Shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy is an assessment-based option for selected soft-tissue, tendon, and musculoskeletal concerns. It may be used as one part of a broader plan when a practitioner determines it is appropriate.

Multidisciplinary approach

Sometimes one concern benefits from more than one perspective.

A sore neck, restricted hip, persistent tendon concern, or stress-related tension can involve more than one system. A multidisciplinary centre gives clients access to different kinds of care without having to start from scratch every time.

The goal is not to do everything at once. The goal is to choose the right next step, notice how you respond, and build support around what is actually helping.

Better contextDifferent practitioners can look at comfort, mobility, stress, recovery, and lifestyle from complementary angles.
Clearer next stepsClients can begin with one service and add support only when it makes sense for their goals.
Whole-person careMany people feel better supported when their care plan respects both physical symptoms and day-to-day life demands.

Common questions

Do I need to know which therapy to choose first?

No. You can start with the service that best matches your main concern, or call the centre if you are unsure which appointment type fits best.

Will I need more than one type of care?

Not necessarily. Some clients do well with one service. Others benefit from a thoughtful combination over time. Your practitioner can discuss options without pressure.

Is multidisciplinary care a replacement for medical care?

No. Naturology Centre services are supportive wellness services and do not replace emergency, primary medical, diagnostic, legal, or financial advice.
